WELCOME to Highland Creek’s newest residents!
REMINDERS:
· If you are going to be absent from your condo for any length of time, please shut your water off. If you are unsure how to do so, please contact a board member for help.
· If you are going to be gone for more than 3 weeks, please notify the board president so that HCCA can save on the number of trash totes we are charged for.
SPOUTING TO BE CLEANED: The work of cleaning out the spouting is scheduled to take place the day after Thanksgiving.

· Thank you to the Clubhouse Committee for decorating the clubhouse throughout the year!
· Thank you to the residents who had their dryer vents cleaned in October. Not only does cleaning the vent increase dryer efficiency, but it helps prevent fires too.
MONTHLY ASSESSMENT INCREASE: Residents were notified by letter in October that the monthly HCCA assessment will increase by $20 beginning January 1, 2026. Whether you pay by check or via ACH, please remember the new amount will be $350.
DEC. 13th HOLIDAY SOCIAL
The Holiday Open House is Saturday, Dec. 13, from 2-4 p.m. Light snacks, water, and coffee will be provided by the board. Feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share and any additional beverage of your choice.
BOARD CHANGES: Our treasurer will be resigning from the board on
Dec. 31. That board seat will be left vacant until March. She has been contracted to take care of the treasurer’s duties and bookkeeping for 2026.A SPECIAL THANK YOU for all the volunteer work they have done for HCCA. We wish them well!
EXTERIOR DECORATIONS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Now that the starting dates for putting up decorations for the upcoming holidays have passed, here is a reminder of the dates by which they should be taken down.
· Thanksgiving decorations: remove by Dec. 4.
· Christmas decorations: remove by January 14, 2026.
Locations:
· Holiday decorations are permitted to be placed inside these areas: a) the unit owner’s limited common elements, b) in the mulch/stones adjacent to one’s unit, and c) within the unit’s main entrance area including the door. They are also permitted on building exteriors provided the decorations do not damage the limited common elements, building, gutters, or siding.
Residents are responsible for any safety issues arising from their placement of holiday decorations outside.
END OF YEAR REMINDERS
1) Empty flowerpots and shepherd hooks should be stored inside the garage.
2) The maintenance of all personally planted flowers and the removal of them at the end of the season are the responsibility of the homeowner.
3) Maintain and clean any bird feeder(s).
WEEKLY ACTIVITIES: New players are welcome! Please come join the fun!
Mondays: Games/cards night, 6:30 p.m.
Tuesdays: Dominoes night, 6:30 p.m.
Thursdays: Euchre, 6:30 p.m.
DECEMBER EVENTS:
Saturday, Dec. 13, 2-4 p.m., Holiday Social
There will be no Friday morning social, no board meeting, no Wonderful Wednesday, and no ladies’ lunch bunch in the month of December.
CLUBHOUSE RENTAL: The clubhouse is open for rentals. For 25 or fewer guests, the price to rent is $25. For 26-50 guests, the price is $50.
HCCA REGULATIONS: Please occasionally review your copies of the Declaration and Bylaws and the Handbook of Policies and Guidelines (Rev. 2023).
